| Detention facility earns accreditation |

COLORADO - The Adams County Detention Facility earned accreditation from the American Correctional Association by the Chairperson of the Commission on Accreditation for Corrections. The award was presented in conjunction with the 137th Congress of Correction Conference in Kansas City, Mo., in August. During the presentation, the Chairperson of the CAC and the president of the American Correctional Association, praised the Brighton facility for a “professional level of operation” and for completing the accreditation process successfully.
