County chided in job lawsuit

NEW JERSEY - A judge offered some harsh words Thursday about how the county has dragged its feet in defending against a lawsuit by two former corrections officers who are fighting to get their jobs back.

Agreeing with the attorney for the officers, state Superior Court Judge Anthony Graziano said the county has defied court orders to produce at least two key witnesses, Sheriff Jerry Speziale and Warden Charles Meyers, to give depositions. Read more.
