OREGON - High-tech Tasers are being added to Oregon's prison system arsenal, much to the dismay of inmates and civil-rights activists. Nearly 100 corrections officers across the state are being trained on how and when to use the shock-inducing weapons. Prison officials said state-of-the-art Tasers, equipped with digital-recording cameras, will give officers another tool to quell violence within the 13,500-inmate prison system. Read more.
