| Defense attorneys urge new reviews of death cases |

GEORGIA - The Georgia Supreme Court should re-evaluate dozens of potentially flawed death sentences that it had justified by relying on overturned decisions, defense lawyers said Wednesday. Such an inquiry might mean reopening about 100 decisions in which the court has affirmed death sentences from across Georgia.
