| Jail expansion may fix overcrowding |

NEVADA - To build a new jail complex will be expensive for Lyon County and thus Lyon County officials are now looking at expanding the current facility to meet immediate overcrowding in the jail. County Engineer Dick Faber said he is currently looking at plans to double the current bed capacity at the Lyon County Jail as a short-term solution, such as possibly the use of a modular-designed structure for an addition.
