VIRGINIA - The discovery of a propane leak at the new Pocahontas State Correctional Center has prompted a delay in the arrival of inmates. The first round of inmates slated for incarceration at the new $68 million facility was originally expected to arrive this week. However, officials discovered a small propane leak at one of the prison storage tanks, Larry Traylor, director of communications for the Virginia Department of Corrections, said. Read more.
