| Cell fire causes brief evacuation |

NEW HAMPSHIRE - A minor fire in a cell at the state prison last night caused the temporary evacuation of 24 maximum security inmates to other areas in the prison, a corrections official said today.newsroom. The fire happened at 10 p.m. on I-Tier of the Special Housing Unit (SPU), where maximum security inmates are held. It started in the cell of Brandon Lee Bilodeau, 30, originally from Hampton Beach, who is serving a 10 to 20 year sentence for a first-degree assault conviction out of Manchester. Read more.
