| Inmates attack officers |

Three correctional officers from the Willacy County (Texas) Jail were attacked last week by four inmates. A Texas Department of Criminal Justice Spokesperson reported that two of the correctional officers were transported to Valley Baptist Medical Center. It is still unclear as to why the inmates attacked the officers in the first place, but other inmates are being questioned about the incident. |
