| County to house tribal inmates |

IDAHO - Kootenai County will begin housing inmates for the Coeur d'Alene Tribe. County commissioners approved the plan Tuesday. Under the agreement, the tribe will be responsible for transportation to and from the jail, and for medical costs, and the county sheriff will have the right to refuse any prospective inmates access to the jail.
