Commissioners privatize medical care

PENNSYLVANIA - Lancaster County commissioners approved a deal Tuesday to privatize medical care for county inmates.

The commissioners agreed to a contract with PrimeCare Medical, a prison health-care company based in Harrisburg that will oversee medical care at Lancaster County Prison and the Youth Intervention Center beginning in November. Read more.
