ILLINOIS - The FBI took its investigation into allegations of inmate abuse at the Lake County Jail straight to the source Wednesday. About a dozen federal agents served subpoenas at the jail, requesting copies of video and audio tapes, log books and other documents related to three incidents at the lock-up in late 2006. Agents filled a van with information about an Oct. 30 incident involving inmate Paul Todd, a Nov. 29 altercation between jail [officers] and inmate Leonel Erazo, and the reported beating on Dec. 26 of inmate Tommy Ford. words you want linked |
