Golf scramble to benefit ailing CO

OHIO - Local corrections officers will be breaking out the golf clubs to benefit one of their own next week.

Tri-County Regional Jail Corrections Officer Robin Reed, of London, has been battling cancer for the last six months, and a golf scramble to help with his medical and family expenses is scheduled for Oct. 14 at Woodland Golf Course, 4900 Swisher Road, Cable. Read more.

    I want to know if this breaking out of the golf club was successful or not. I never caught up on this story, and I need to learn the facts here now. Otherwise, there will be a part of my brain that will always wonder whether this worked or not.
