| Kevorkian seeks to improve prison system |

MICHIGAN - Assisted suicide advocate Jack Kevorkian says he's focusing on a couple of issues bigger than euthanasia. The Detroit News reports those issues are prison reform and civil rights. Kevorkian says America's prisons system is punitive and unproductive. He also says the Ninth Amendment to the U.S. Bill of Rights could solve innumerable controversies in society, including abortion and euthanasia. Read more.
