ALABAMA - The company that Alabama will pay $223.27 million over the next three years to provide health care for its prison inmates has a lengthy history of litigation across the country. But the firm, Correctional Medical Services Inc., and the staff of the Alabama Department of Corrections say that's not unusual, considering the number of contacts CMS's staff makes daily with convicts.
