| Bill proposes jail for failing to help |

MICHIGAN - The idea of legislating good behavior, or jailing someone for not assisting a person in peril, could soon be up for debate in Lansing. Oakland County Prosecutor David Gorcyca said it's disappointing that the Michigan Legislature would have to enact a law requiring a human being to help another human being in trouble, but that is exactly what has been introduced to the Michigan House of Representatives.
