NEW YORK - Correction officers at the Rockland County jail have not been getting updated training or firearms practice for years under Sheriff James Kralik, according to administrative memos cited by Democrat Tim O'Neill. And O'Neill, who is challenging Kralik in next month's election, said the lack of training should not have been tolerated, regardless of the financial issues. Read more.
