October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM) also is a group of several national public service organizations, professional medical associations, and government agencies that work to build breast cancer awareness, share information and provide access to screening services. It serves as a year-round resource for patients, survivors, caregivers and the general public. More information can also be found at the Centers for Disease Control and the American Cancer Society. |
