WEST VIRGINIA - A state official verified Wednesday that there are three confirmed cases of inmates who have Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus, or MRSA, infections at the Eastern Regional Jail in Martinsburg. “It’s surely not bogus. Currently we have confirmed three cases at that particular jail,” said John King, the West Virginia Regional Jail and Correctional Facility Authority’s chief of operations. “We are following all the standard health department protocols.” Read more.
