$1.2 million grant to track offenders

WISCONSIN - Those who were a victim of crime could soon track their offender from home. A new $1.2 million grant will help the state Department of Corrections create a statewide automated victim information and notification -- or SAVIN -- system.

Victims will be able to log on and receive information on the status of criminal defendants and convicted offenders. Read more.
