ILLINOIS - Four physicians made their pitches Thursday to the Lake County Commissioners to serve as medical consultant for the Lake County Jail. The contract became a point of contention this summer, when the Lake County Board of Commissioners learned Sheriff Roy Dominguez had hired Dr. Peter Gutierrez, a former jail medical director, to the position.
