OKLAHOMA - According to Oklahoma Department of Health officials, there are currently no solid statistics available for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in Washington County, or even statewide. “We don’t have county or state stats,” said Becky Coffman, staff epidemiologist with the State Health Department. “Mainly because people staph infections are personal health issues, the exception would be if there is an outbreak.” Read more.
