WASHINGTON - The state prison system will pay $65,000 to settle a lawsuit over its refusal to disclose certain public records in electronic form — the latest payout for the agency over failing to disclose records. The government is settling the case, even though it won a ruling on an injunction request at the lower-court level in June. The decision had been on appeal. Read more.
