WISCONSIN - A hostage situation at a maximum-security prison in Waupun ended peacefully Wednesday, but officials say it easily could have gone the other way. "We were extremely lucky today, we know that," said Department of Corrections Secretary Rick Raemisch. "But along with luck, we had the strong training and professionalism of the staff that helped to get this young woman out of the situation that she was in." Read more.
