Move to stop inmate tattooing

THAILAND - The Corrections Department is to step up measures to stop inmates tattooing themselves in a bid to curb the spread of infectious diseases in prisons, particularly HIV/Aids.

The department was alarmed by a recent study which indicated that more than half of tattooed inmates had the work done in jail. Read more.
