WISCONSIN - The Waupun Correctional Institute was still in lockdown Thursday night after an inmate took a dental technician hostage for hours before releasing her unharmed. Many are now wondering if a similar situation could happen in Stanley. NewsCenter 13 visited the Stanley Correctional Institution to find out how guards there protect staff and visitors. S.C.I. Warden Brad Hompe says it's a prison and the risk is there, but he says that's what they train for and they make safety of workers and volunteers a top priority. Read more.
