The Soros Justice Fellowship provides funds to lawyers, advocates, grassroots organizers, activist academics, journalists, and filmmakers to implement innovative projects that address the Open Society Institute's criminal justice priorities. Since its inception in 1997, the program has supported individuals working across the country for local, state, and national criminal justice reform. The Open Society Institute is a private foundation that aims to shape public policy to promote democratic governance, human rights, and economic, legal, and social reform. |
