NEVADA - The sign identifying the building at 911 E. Musser St. as the new home of the Carson City Sheriff's Department had yet to arrive last week, leaving the front of the impressive structure strangely blank. Upon setting foot in the lobby, though, it would be hard for anyone to mistake the facility for anything other than what it is: a modern, big-city police station. "It's just like any time you move," Carson City Undersheriff Steve Albertsen said during an informal tour of the 40,000-square-foot building, which opened last week.
