| Regional administrators meet in Hanoi |

The 27th Asian and Pacific Conference of Correctional Administrators (APCCA 27) is being held in Hanoi from November 25-30 by the Department of Prison Management under the Ministry of Public Security. This is the first time Vietnam has hosted the conference since it first participated in the event in 1991. The country signed a joint declaration of member countries in 2002. APCCA 27 attracted 153 participants of 32 delegations from 25 countries and territories. Under the theme “For a peaceful life”, the event was a good opportunity for participants to exchange views and share experiences in prisoner management and education. Read more.
