IDAHO - Time-consuming urine and blood drug testing may be drastically cut down if a new system being tested by the Idaho Department of Correction proves effective. In place of the cup or needle approaches, a new goggle-shaped device can theoretically detect drug use during the past two days after just a 25-second exam. Though it will not do away with standardized drug-testing methods, the Passpoint eyepiece could drastically reduce the time required to screen subjects. Read more.
