OKLAHOMA - State lawmakers are looking into whether the governor should be removed from the process of granting parole to Oklahoma inmates. During a meeting of the House Criminal Justice and Corrections Subcommittee on Thursday, chairwoman Sue Tibbs said she would like to see the governor taken out of the parole process. Read more.
