NEW YORK - County jail inmates have been denied treatment and tests for such problems as heart ailments and traumatic injuries, according to a lawsuit filed by a county health official. Dr. Patricia Dillon, who once served as Suffolk County's acting public health director, said in court papers she was suspended when she started to document what she saw as neglectful care at the Riverhead jail.
