NEW JERSEY - The leader of a group of teenage prisoners who attacked and severely beat two corrections officers at the New Jersey Training School for Boys was sentenced this morning to serve up to 15 years in prison, with no hope of parole for at least 12 years and nine months. Tyshon Singletary, a Paterson resident and an admitted member of the notorious Bloods street gang, smiled broadly as he was escorted from a courtroom in the Middlesex County Courthouse after Superior Court Judge Frederick DeVesa sentenced him to the term in New Brunswick.
