| Possible jail site list released |

WASHINGTON - Suffering from an overcrowding of inmates in the Spokane County Jail and Geiger Corrections Center, county officials have been looking into sites for a new jail facility. A list of 10 possible sites was released Thursday. In addition to the overcrowding issue, officials also have to deal with the fact that Geiger will be closing in 2013, and the 610 inmates currently housed there are going to need to be moved to a nearby facility.
