| COs join at-risk youth holiday shop program |

ARIZONA – Ten COs from the Arizona Department of Corrections will join local organizations and 200 at-risk youth for the Scottsdale Police Department’s fifth annual “Shop with a cop or CO” program December 15. Volunteers from the Scottsdale Police Department, the Arizona Department of Corrections, DPS State Gang Task Force, the Arizona Adult Probation Officers Association, and the Salt River, Paradise Valley, and Arizona State University Police Departments will be paired with youths for a breakfast together at the Scottsdale Community College and a $200 shopping spree at Target. The shopping spree is financially supported by Scottsdale businesses and residents. |
