WISCONSIN - The Reporter has provided some insights into a critical problem facing correctional officers from inmates filing John Doe proceedings against them. This is a real problem that I hope the Legislature quickly corrects. If we really believe in living in a free society, charging people with a crime that could result in a curtailment of someone's freedom should never be done without serious consideration. Read more.
