ALABAMA - The newly established five-member Baldwin County Community Corrections Board asked its director Monday for plans to launch a program that would allow certain inmates to remain free on bond and work while awaiting trial. In their inaugural meeting, which lasted more than two hours at the Baldwin County Courthouse in Bay Minette, board members postponed much of the action they faced, but still said they wanted to move quickly with the program.
