NEW JERSEY - A South Woods State Prison corrections officer was flown to a Camden hospital Tuesday morning after he was seriously injured in a Route 49 accident. Chris McDowell was traveling east on Route 49 in a green 1999 Hyundai Accent when he crashed into the rear of a tractor trailer parked on the south side of the state highway around 6:30 a.m., police said.
