MICHIGAN - A state Corrections officer was shot and killed this morning at a Shell gas station near 5 Mile and Beck Road in Plymouth Township. Corrections officials identified the victim as 39-year-old Joseph Candie, who worked as a lieutenant at the Scott Correctional Facility, which houses female prisoners in Plymouth Township. Read more.
