SOUTH CAROLINA - Inmates in Lee Correctional Institution are on lockdown after an attack on an officer Saturday. An unidentified corrections officer was taken to an area hospital after being assaulted by three inmates in a dorm about 11:30 a.m. Four other officers were being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, said Corrections Department spokesman Josh Gelinas.
