| State may track sex offenders' e-mail addresses |

WISCONSIN - All too often, the Internet and e-mail are tools sex offenders use to lure victims. But while convicted sex offenders must report to the state their home address, their workplace and their telephone number, they aren't require to report their e-mail addresses or the Internet sites they maintain. "For whatever reason, this was missed. We need to catch up with the times," said state Rep. Andy Jorgensen, D-Fort Atkinson, who recently authored legislation to require offenders to report the information. Read more.
