| Complex to add jail, class space |

INDIANA - During the next two years, the Hamilton County Corrections Complex will undergo a $43 million facelift that includes more jail space, a new Community Corrections building and additional classroom space to provide programs for the county's growing inmate population. The number of inmates in the county has increased by 48 percent since 1999, according to a 2006 jail division study released in February. Read more.
