| Joint investigation task force formed |

INDIANA - La Porte County Council President Jerry Cooley said Friday he intends to form a joint task force to investigate the condition of facilities and programs at Community Corrections. That task force would include members of the county council and county board of commissioners. Cooley released a Dec. 20 report submitted by council attorney Don Baugher, who has been investigating the Community Corrections program since July at the request of the council. Read more.
