The series, which aired its sixth and final episode Friday night, documented the life of prisoners incarcerated in Atmore’s Holman Prison. “We’ve been pleased with the shows from the get go,” Alabama Department of Correction public information manager Brian Corbett said Friday afternoon. “We had the opportunity to review the shows before they even aired for some editorial points that we wished to make. Of course, there were some things MSNBC felt like they may need to show or wanted to show, things they felt strongly about. Again, even though it’s an extended stay, six one-hour episodes, it allows for an extended snapshot of what prison at Holman is like.” Read more.
