| COs and college custodians to strike |

CANADA - Correctional workers, community college custodians, and human service counsellors in New Brunswick will be on strike as of 4 p.m. Thursday, but the province's human resources minister says the union needs to "sharpen it's pencil" before negotiations can resume. Wally Stiles says the government has only so much money to spend, and the Canadian Union of Public Employees should take another look at a report done by a commissioner appointed under the Labour Relations Act.
