OHIO - Painsville (Ohio) Municipal Court Judge Michael A. Cicconetti has become well known for his habit of handing down some unusual sentences.

Here are just a few examples listed on various news Web sites:

— He sentenced two teens who had defaced a baby Jesus figure in a Nativity display to lead a donkey through town with a sign reading “forgive our offense.”

— He sentenced a woman who abandoned kittens in a park to spend the night alone in the woods without food, water or entertainment. Read more.
