| N.Y. to close four state prisons |

NEW YORK - The Spitzer administration plans to close four New York prisons as inmate populations continue to drop. Department of Correctional Services Commissioner Brian Fischer says the state plans to close Camp Pharsalia in Chenango County, Camp McGregor in Saratoga County, Hudson Correctional Facility in Hudson, and Camp Gabriels in Franklin County.
