| Suicides lead to scrutiny |

PENNSYLVANIA - Three inmate suicides within a six-month span at a state prison have led an advocacy group and the prisoners' families to demand more scrutiny of the deaths. Naima Black, a coordinator with the American Friends Service Committee, said her group has heard allegations of negligence and abuse within the restricted housing unit at the State Correctional Institution at Smithfield in Huntingdon.
