FLORIDA - Limited funds and divided priorities caused the county commission to split over needs for the volunteer fire departments last week. After hearing several fire department needs during a December meeting, the county commission asked Fire Chief Percy Sullivan to take those and any other needs before the county fire council where the council of chiefs could set their priorities.
