MASSACHUSETTS – After more than 30 years with the Massachusetts Probation Service, First Deputy Commissioner John Cremens has retired. Beginning his career as a probation officer with the Suffolk Division of the Superior Court, Cremens became Chief Probation Officer in 1990 and First Deputy in 1998. In 2007, Cremens helped implement the state’s new electronic criminal case management system, MassCourts Lite. “John has served the Massachusettes Probation Service with unwavering dedication and commitment not only to the profession but to the individual Probation Officers,” says Probation Commissioner John O’Brien. |
