CANADA - Contract talks were expected to resume Wednesday between the province and the union representing striking correctional workers, community college custodians, and human service counselors in New Brunswick. About 500 members of Local 1251 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees have been on strike since Jan. 10 to back demands for better wages. Read more.
